An adaptation of the famous Haitian macaroni salad, this sea pasta salad is perfect at buffet, a picnic or light lunch.

Sea pasta salad

One package of vegetables macaroni or pasta
1 onion (or 2-3 shallots), finely chopped
1 celery stick, finely diced
2 cans tuna chunks, drained
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 / 3 cup olive oil
1 / 2 cup salad dressing or mayonnaise as desired
Cooking oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Parsley to taste


Sauté the onion in some oil. Cook the pasta according to directions, drain and rinse
with cold water.

Mix with remaining ingredients and season to taste.
